Overview
The Ha Giang Loop Jeep Tour 4 Days 3 Nights is the most comfortable way to explore Northern Vietnam's famous loop in depth. You travel in a private Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with your own experienced local driver, so you can relax, take photos, and soak up the scenery instead of watching the road — perfect for non-riders, couples, families, and older travelers who still want the full adventure.
This Ha Giang jeep tour takes the slower, deeper route: Quan Ba Heaven Gate, the Lung Khuy Cave trek, Lung Cu Flag Tower (Vietnam's northernmost point), the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, a boat trip on the emerald Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon, and the peaceful village of Du Gia. The extra day means more time for trekking, the boat ride, village visits, and unhurried photo stops.
Our jeeps are open-top for big-sky views in fair weather and quickly fitted with a soft-top and blankets when it turns cool or rainy, so the tour runs comfortably all year round. Expect cozy homestays, authentic local food, and friendly cultural evenings with music, games, and a taste of "happy water".

Guest Reviews
"The Ha Giang Loop jeep tour over 4 days was unforgettable. My partner doesn't ride, so the private jeep was perfect — Lung Khuy Cave was a surprise, and Ma Pi Leng plus the Nho Que River boat were beyond anything we expected. Du Gia was a calm finish."
"Travelled with our two kids and the 4-day pace was ideal. The driver was professional and fun, and the open-air jeep made every viewpoint special. Lung Cu and the Skywalk were highlights — time for real village life, not just driving."
"I felt safe and comfortable the whole way. Lo Lo Chai and Dong Van were beautiful, and the Du Gia waterfall swim was the best morning. I'd recommend this 4-day jeep loop to anyone who wants the full Ha Giang experience without the riding."
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — this is exactly who the jeep tour is for. You ride as a passenger in a private Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an experienced driver, so there's no motorbike skill required. The 4-day pace is relaxed, making it great for non-riders, couples, families with children, and older travelers.
Not at all. The jeep follows the same route and stops at the same places — Lung Cu, Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Ma Pi Leng, the Nho Que River boat trip, Du Gia and more — with the same walks and activities. The only difference is comfort: you stay warm and dry, take photos the whole way, and arrive each evening relaxed.
Each private Jeep Wrangler Rubicon seats up to 4 guests plus the driver, and the whole jeep is yours — you won't share with strangers. For larger groups we simply add more jeeps so everyone travels together.
Pack light and plan for changing mountain weather: a warm layer, a light rain jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, swimwear for the Du Gia waterfall, a small day bag, your camera/phone and charger, and some cash. No riding gear needed — the jeep keeps you covered.
It's about a 6–7 hour drive. We can arrange a comfortable overnight sleeper bus or a private limousine van from Hanoi to Ha Giang for Day 0, and book your return after the tour. Just tell us your preferred dates and pick-up point when booking.
Ha Giang ranges from about 8–25°C depending on the season, and is cooler in winter (November–February). The jeep tour runs all year: the open top is perfect in fair weather, and the soft-top with blankets keeps you comfortable when it's cool or raining. If conditions are ever unsafe, your driver will adjust the route.
The 4-day tour adds Lung Cu Flag Tower, the Lung Khuy Cave trek, the Nho Que River boat trip and more village time, at a slower, more relaxed pace. If you're shorter on time but still want the signature highlights, see the Ha Giang Loop Jeep Tour 3 Days. To continue into Cao Bang, try the Ha Giang – Cao Bang Jeep Tour 5 Days.
We usually arrive back in Ha Giang City around 4:00–5:30 PM on Day 4, in good time for a night bus to Hanoi. Once you have a confirmed travel date, book as early as you can — most guests book 1–3 months ahead, and jeep availability is limited, so early booking helps us arrange everything properly.
